This is a creamy almond dessert. Nutritious and delicious, everybody at home loves it.
Almond Dessert (serves 4)
Ingredients
180g raw almond
650ml water
3.5 tablespoons glutinous rice flour dissolved in 200ml of water
sugar to taste

Method
1. Place almond in a bowl. Add hot water and cover for about 2-3 hours. You can also soak overnight in cold water.
2. Rinse and drain the almonds.
3. Using a blender, add almonds and 650ml of water . Blender for couple of minutes until mixture is creamy in colour.

4. Sift the mixture using a fine cheese cloth or fine sieve into a pot.
5. Add the glutinous rice flour mixture to the almond milk. Mix well.
6. Using low heat, cook the mixture for about 15 minutes, stirring constantly. The mixture will thicken gradually. Add sugar to taste and stir well to dissolve.
7. Serve warm. Garnish with walnut or almond if you like.
