It is warm these days and my avocadoes ripen really quickly. My kids love avocado milkshake with gula melaka. It is really easy, fast and yummy !
Ingredients (serves 1)
1 ripe avocado150ml fresh milk
1-2 tablespoons of melted gula melaka (Palm Sugar) (according to your preference)
Method
1. If you are using block gula melaka, you need to melt it first over a double boiler or a small sauce pan. Add a few teaspoons of water if it is too thick. Set aside to cool.
2. Add avocado and cold milk to a blender. Blender till smooth. Depending on the size of your avocado, add a bit more milk if you find it too thick.
3. To serve, you can either add the melted gula melaka to the bottom of the glass before adding the avocado milkshake or just drizzle over the top.
